Rooftop LOA will be Midtown's Own Resort Experience [2021]

The 38,000 square-foot rooftop, which sits atop the newly built Interlock building in West Midtown, is Slater Hospitality’s newest venue, set to open in the fall of 2021, according to a press release. The adults-only space will feature a full-service restaurant, a patio bar, a pool, and a covered event pavilion.

Executive Chef Joseph Trevino, who has worked with many luxury hotels and resorts, including the St. Regis, will helm the restaurant’s menu, while Randy Hayden will man the bar scene, which will include seasonal cocktails and an extensive wine list.

As for everything else, expect fire pits, private cabanas, a rotation of DJs, a poolside LCD screen for movies (and music videos, please?) and yes, of course, bottle service.

“Kelvin and I have been dreaming of this concept since moving to Atlanta in 2000,” says Mandy Slater of Slater Hospitality, who also owns Ponce City Roof. “We often wished for a local resort-style experience that didn’t require us leaving our Atlanta backyard. The intention for L.O.A is that guests feel like they are on vacation the moment they check in on the ground floor, before ever heading up to the roof. Once there, we want them to leave their world behind.”
